The first RUF RGT was based on the Porsche 996 and it was powered by a 3.6-liter engine capable of developing 385 BHP. Now, the specialists repeat the story, but this time with a 997 model. Under the hood it had a 3.8-liter engine capable of developing 445 BHP and used 19-inch alloy wheels for the race track. In Marc 2010, RUF announced the RGT-8 designed with a 4.5-liter V8 engine 4-valve system with spherical layout capable of developing 550 BHP and 500 Nm of torque. All the output was being sent to the wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. It used Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires running on 19-inch RUF forged alloy wheels. The production is planned to start in 2011. ...[Read more]
